Ethereal Portrait Photo Submissions

My aim is to create the best possible portrait for you, a portrait of the highest quality that can be displayed in your home with pride. In order to provide this high quality, I am sure you will understand there are a few requirements that all photos I use in my portraits must meet.

  • The photo must show the entire body of the person, for example; no hands or feet cropped out of the photo or any part obscurred by other objects that aren't to be included in the photo. While it can be possible for me to recreate obscurred or cropped out body parts, this is extremely time consuming and would be excessively costly to you. (Photos to be used in any of my merfolk themes are an exception to this rule as the legs will be replaced with a tail so it does not matter if the legs are cropped out of the photo or obscured)
  • All photos must be of good quality. Photos send by post must be professionally printed (not printed on a home printer). Images sent by email must be full sized photos, not resized.
  • Be aware, it is impossible to separate transparent or semi-transparent items in photos from the background, therefore if the photo is of, for example a child wearing a ballet tutu made of see through fabric, the background of the original photo would still be visible in the print through the transparent items. I can only use photos where the subject is wearing gauzy or see-though items if the photo is taken against a completely blank background.

Photo Sittings

If you don't have access to a camera, or if you just can't find the right photo to use for your portrait, there is the option of coming to see me for a photo shoot. A photo shoot will take around 20-30 minutes, at the end of which you can select the photo you would like me to use in your portrait.
Please note, the photos taken during this photo shoot are solely for the purpose of creating a portrait, these photos are not available for purchase in any form other than in the portrait you have ordered.
Payment for the photo shoot must be made on the day.
